Viagra

A couple of weeks ago I wrote about Binyamin Netanyahu’s impotence in face of the continued terrorist attacks from Gaza. In light of recent developments – most notably the ground invasion of Gaza by the IDF in an attempt to locate and destroy Hamas infrastructure of missiles and tunnels – it is time to retract my words.

In retrospect and with all things considered, Netanyahu has been handling the current crisis remarkably well. He garnered enough international support to justify the ground invasion and has given Hamas ample time to stop their foolishness. It is time to teach Hamas a lesson, just as Hezbollah in Lebanon had to be taught a lesson in 2006 (and has been remarkably quiet since).

Hopefully the Israeli government and the IDF will do what is necessary now to earn back the valuable deterrence needed in face of these ruthless terrorist organizations. My prayers and thoughts are with the soldiers on the ground. May they complete their mission successfully and return safely to their families.
